Washington radio station WMAL-630 AM, home to Rush’s local propaganda broadcasts, announced that Rush will be spewing his hate at the Warner Theatre at 8 p.m. Nov. 16 for an "Evening With Rush Limbaugh."

The event is sponsored by James Dobson’s Heritage Foundation. Fans will experience a treatise by Limbaugh on why Sponge Bob and Tinky Winky (the purple teletubby) turned out gay.  Bring the whole family.  Tickets are $75 and $100, and available through Ticketmaster.

"Rush has thousands of fans throughout the Washington area," notes Chris Berry, WMAL’s president and general manager. "This will be a unique opportunity for them to see him as they never have before, up close and in person."

Get your pies ready……

Carafano states Heritiage Foundation is Non-Partisan

By admin
Published:September 7th, 2005

On CSPAN-2 today, Carafano stated that the Heritage Foundation was “a non-profit, non-partisan foundation.”. Yeah, right. And I’m really George Bush writing this blog.

With that statement you can discount just about everything he says. Before Katrina’s wrath, we have an article he wrote titled “Broken Security Department” on May 30, 2005. He slammed the DHS for being a political and incompetent (Carafano’s own words):

“Chertoff at least has his priorities right. The department, created by the Homeland Security Act of 2002, was the product of political compromise and best guesses. Watching it in action has shown that many of the compromises were bad and the guesses wrong.”

In the next breath he is defending the response of FEMA, a subsidiary of the DHS, to hurricane Katrina. According to the Billings Gazetter on September 5, 2005, Carafano said it is “beyond the ridiculous” to think that FEMA has been weakened since being put under the DHS. He also said on CSPAN-2 today that “news reports should not be used to evaluate the leadership of FEMA during this event”.

I can’t decide which lie is worse: the one about FEMA not being weak or the one about the non-partisanship of the Heritage Foundation. Perhaps Phyllis cracked the whip on him a bit.

John Roberts: A Conservative Monster just waiting to Hatch

By admin
Published:July 25th, 2005

Bush Golden Boy, John Roberts, has been making the Democratic Senate circuit, trying to charm his way out of a filibuster. While he has impeccable legal credentials, his judicial record is non existent. Recently he has shown his Republican colors getting himself caught in a lie about being a member of the madly conservative group, the Federalist Society. When confronted by reporters of the Washington post, he denied the allegations. He just smiles and waves.

But make no mistake, when he gets his young self behind the bench of the highest court in the land, he will wreak judicial havoc for many years to come. To the very court his is nominated, Roberts argued to that Roe v Wade should be “overruled”. He won a case blocking doctors in many cases from even discussing reproductive options with their patients. He was one of the circuit court judges that ruled the US could make up their own military tribunals with Guantanamo prisoners.

Tony Perkins of the ultra-conservative Family Research Council said “The President … promised to nominate someone along the lines of a Scalia or a Thomas and that is exactly what he has done.” Pat Robertson said Roberts was “at the top” of his own list of candidates for the court vacancy. James Dobson of Focus on the Family called Roberts “unquestionably qualified”

Think little dancin’ Jake likes Sponge Bob? It is the Rublican way of late to have a gay scion.

Religion Debate in House Gets Out of Hand

By admin

The House debated today over an amendment that is designed to make the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, file a yearly report to Congress outlining their efforts to promote religous freedom. This is in response to complaints at the academy of discrimination, and from one cadet who was transferred after she complained. The amendment states the coercive and abusive proselytizing is not allowed.

Rep. John Hostettler (R-Ind), during a debate over the issues at the Air Force Academy in Colorado, stated “There is a war on Christianity by Democrats in the House”. He continued and went too far when he stated, “Like a moth to a flame, Democrats can’t help themselves when it comes to denigrating and demonizing Christianity”.

Rep. David Obey (D-Wis) wisely interrupted this drivel and demanded that the “Words be Taken Down”. That began a diciplinary process against Hostettler. After debate by the House Chair, Hostettler got his hand slapped and was forced to withdraw his remarks. Obey and Steve Israel (D-NY) were allowed time to rebuke Hostettler for his remarks. Isreal astutely pointed out that Hostettler’s remarks were “testimony for passage of the amendment”.

Hostettler was allowed to respond and immediately questioned the meaning of “proselytizing” because Indiana had outlawed five syllable words, declaring them anti Christian. He also stated that Israel’s efforts were “engaging in an anti-Christain act”. Hostettler was forced to withdraw that sentence as well.

Hostettler, former Baptist Deacon, is also known for his religious movement to change the name of the Indiana freeway, I-69. For some perverted reason, visions of sex acts pop up in his mind when he drives on the freeway and instead of thinking the whole thing funny like a normal human being, he is reminded of how good the Catholic church used to have it. Hostettler stated, “I believe it’s time to change the name of the highway. It’s the moral thing to do”. The reason for his sex obsession is not known at this time.

What? We’re white and Christian?

By admin
Published:June 12th, 2005

How dare Howard Dean point out the fact that the Republican party is a nearly exclusively white and Christian party. Despite the fact the Republicans have spent the last 40 years aligning themselves with fundamentalists, pointing out the obvious shows that Dean is a mean spirited person.

VP Dick Cheney was quoted on Hannity and Colmes wondering if Dean’s mother didn’t love him and that was making him saying these mean things. Is the lack of maternal love the reason Cheney told Patrick Leahy to go fuck himself on the Senate floor? Is the lack of love from Barbara Bush the reason why W has illegally invaded Iraq? Is the lack of maternal love the reason why the prescription drug policy screws over the elderly and benefits big pharma? Is the lack of maternal love the reason why Bush wants to create Social Security private accounts that benefit nobody but investment firms? Hello kettle, black calling.

Dean poses a problem for the Republicans because unlike most Democrats Dean is a fighter and that is just what the party needs. Let the Republicans throw up a smokescreen and try to talk about Dean while the Dems stick to the issues.

There’s a Mole in the Church

How can we forget the Swift Boat Vet ads targeted at John Kerry? They accused him of such nonsense as taking a Purple Heart for a cut on his that finger healed with a band-aid. Unfortunately the drones of the USA believed the Vet ads. Repeating lies was shown to work (as Goebbels always knew), and thus the Republican Party has adopted this strategy as gospel.

The latest use of this SBV strategy is coming from Arthur Finkelstein, who is now setting up a PAC to defeat Senator Hillary Clinton in 2006. Finkelstein wants to set up an advertising slander campaign targeting Senator Clinton similar to the one launched against John Kerry. Finkelstein is known for running such trashy campaigns when helping Senator Jessie Helms (R-NC) and Gov. George Pataki (R-NY). During the 1996 presidental race, Finkelstein gave Bob Dole the phrase “spend and tax liberal” to use against Bill Clinton.

There is one chink in the armor - Mr. Finkelstein is gay. On April 8, 2005, the Times reported that he had married his male partner in a civil ceremony at his home in Massachusetts.

Wasn’t it the Republican President Bush who wants an ammendment to ban this sort of thing? Then they turn around and worship this Finkelstein for being able to spread lies to further the GOP Family Values agenda. This shows the GOP has always been making deals with the Devil in the back room and shaking hands with God in the Sanctuary.

GOP Eat their Own

The far right is mad as hell and their are not going to take it any more. Their former leader, President Bush, unexpectedly hopped on another horse mid-stream when he responded to a reporter’s question about whether the Schiavo case showed that judges were out of control and should be held responsible. He said, “I believe in an independent judiciary. I believe in proper checks and balances.”

Bush even earned an atta-boy from Senator Kennedy for that one, which prompted reports of smoke coming out of DeLay’s ears. (NYC firefighters refused to respond.)

Another righty, Roy Moore of Alabama 10 commandments fame, said of the Shiavo case “Jeb Bush should have issued an executive order and brought her into state custody. He had the authority”.

They are even after Bill Frist(R-Tenn), Senate Majority leader and pioneer of video diagnosis. Frist said last week, “I believe we have a fair and independent judiciary today.” Phyllis Schlafly (founder of the conservative Eagle Forum), responded to this in an interview Thursday by describing Frist as a “nice man,” but warned that “his fate hangs on whether he puts the judges through. If he doesn’t, it’s his last blast.”

Pass the salt, please.

Who: Founder of Focus on Family

What: Officially stated on 1/20/05 with regard to the Sponge Bob gay scandal " Their (WAFF) inclusion of the reference to ’sexual identity" within their ‘tolerance pledge’ is not only unnecessary, but it crosses a moral line,"

Detail: WAFF (We are Family Foundation) was formed by Nile Rogers and designed the pledge to heal racial tensions in the wake of the September 11 disaster. Aparently Dobson does not agree and thinks it a plot to further gay rights. Since when does Dobson get to decide where the moral boundaries are? I don’t remember voting in that election….Oh yeah, I forget about he election on gay marriage held November 2004. I think Bush won that one. His whores are still putting out for him. Sponge Bob for President 08′ !
