Vanity Fair reported on the prices of the outfits Cindy McCain and Laura Bush wore at the RNC.  Cindy McCain is the winner with $300,000 (That’s more than my house lost value this year) :

Vanity Fair readers commented that Cindy McCain’s outfit made her look like a "banana dominatrix" and that she was trying to dress like a 20-something.  However, Laura Bush received complements on her conservative outfit.
