McClellan aka “Piggy” Gets Chopped

Minuites after announcing the resignation of the White House press secretary, President Bush was the victim of another communications failure when his helicopter was prevented from taking off because of a broken radio.
Indeed, the sight of Marine One being grounded provided the type of vivid political symbolism that this US Administration has, in recent months, proved incapable of producing. Scott McClellan’s tormented, sweaty, pink-faced appearances in front of the White House press corps had, for some, become almost too painful to watch.
The living symbol of this White House’s profound and perhaps mortal problem with language and meaning,” was the verdict of the writer Michael Wolff in a recent Vanity Fair article. He’s Piggy in Lord of the Flies: a living victim, whose reason for being is, apparently, to shoulder public ridicule and pain . . . he’s the person would ever choose to be.”
A living victim, indeed. McCelellan has spews so many lies for the administration and took so much heat….who was behind this? Scott or George? I think Scott is just cashing out and going on vacation. If he narc’s, RW will be very surpised.
Another General Calls for Rumsfeld Resignation
Yet another recently retired two-star general who just a year ago commanded a U.S. Army division in Iraq on Wednesday joined a small but growing list of former senior officers to call on Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to resign.
"I believe we need a fresh start in the Pentagon. We need a leader who understands teamwork, a leader who knows how to build teams, a leader that does it without intimidation," Maj. Gen. John Batiste, who commanded the Germany-based 1st Infantry Division in Iraq, said in an interview on CNN.
In recent weeks, retired Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Gregory Newbold, Army Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton and Marine Corps Gen. Anthony Zinni all spoke out against Rumsfeld. This comes as opinion polls show eroding public support for the 3-year-old war in which about 2,360 U.S. troops have died."You know, it speaks volumes that guys like me are speaking out from retirement about the leadership climate in the Department of Defense," Batiste said.

Bush Administration Lies about the Lie
In true form the Bush Regime sent their relentless mouthpiece, Scott McClellan, out to spin the truth for the usually attentive White House Press Corps, only to find the sleeping bear has stirred yet again.
This time the Whitehouse has not denied that the President authorized the leaking of former covert CIA operative Vallerie Plame’s identity. Bush did it. He is responsible. However, McClellan insists the reason was because it was “in the public interest”.
The Bush administration must think the American People are pretty stupid. Consider all they have managed to quell - 2 Downing Street memos and a fake, yet expensive, war that is now in the toilet.
Bush authorized that leak because he was being vindictive towards Plame’s husband for publishing an article that revealed his lies about a made-up Iraqi yellow cake deal that pushed us into war. Bush just rolled over Joe Wilson and, in essense, put his wife in great danger. Where is the public interest?
The CBS headline is “The leak-hater is the leaker.” Where I grew up the saying goes, “The smeller’s the feller.” Looks like it’s going to take the Bush Regime some time to clear the air with this one.
Bush Lied….Again.
Grand Jury Transcripts have been released that state Scooter Libby testified in March of 2004 that President Bush was the one who told him to leak Plames name in July of 2003. Given that, a lot of the past timeline that never made any sense starts to fall in place. The incredible boldfaced lies of this evil administration are becoming terrifying. Let’s review:
July 03 – Valerie Plame is outed in press as an undercover operative.
September 03 – Bush stands up in front of the American people and lies his ass off when he makes the false promise that anyone involved in the leak will be fired. What he was really saying was that anyone who leaks the truth about how this evil administration deliberately leaked her name in order to go forward with a selfish war would be fired.
March 04 – Scooter testified. The Bush finds out that he has told the Grand Jury that President Bush directed him to leak Plame’s name.
June 04 – Bush meets with a private lawyer. Bush knows he was named and is going to try to cover his ass. Everyone at the time is baffled as to why he is doing this, but alas, we won’t know this until April 06.
July 05- After Bush conspires with his lawyer, they decide since he was the one who told Scooter to leak Plame’s name, then no law was broken. After all, the President is above the law. Bush then changes his original statement from “anyone involved will be fired” to “anyone breaking the law will be fired”. The press notices, but again since the truth was hidden, nobody really knew why he was doing this.
October 05- Rove testifies to the Grand Jury. Rove already knows what Scooter has said to them. Rove “leaks” to the press that he has testified that Scooter was the original source. Also this month Scooter is indicted for lying during the investigation.
April 06 – Grand Jury Papers are filed in court and become public record. It is found out that President Bush has been lying to the American People and the World for the last 3 years.
Another Bush-Appointed Sicko Revealed
Brian Doyle, 56, a Bush appointee to Deputy Directof of Homeland Security, was nailed in an internet porn sting today. Wickipedia reported it best (although as of today, someone has requested the article be deleted - hopefully the NeoCon revisionist do not get their way):
On April 4, 2006, Doyle was arrested at his Silver Spring, Maryland home on 23 charges related to the use of a computer to seduce a child and transmitting harmful materials to a minor. Polk County, Florida investigators say that the incident began March 14, 2006; Doyle initiated contact with an undercover detective who was posing as a 14-year-old girl, and allegedly began engaging in sexually explicit conversation, and sending "hard core" pornographic movie clips to her over the internet. Authorities say he sent pictures of himself, but that they were not sexually explicit. In one photo, Doyle’s DHS security picture identification tag was clearly visible, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. Authorities also believe he could have held similar conversations online with others, Judd said, because at some points during online chats he would address the detective by the wrong name.
During discussions between Doyle and an undercover deputy who he believed to be the teenage girl, Doyle revealed that he worked for the Department of Homeland Security and gave his office phone number and his government-issued cell phone number.
Doyle has confessed to police and agreed to waive extradition to Florida.
Perverts and incompetance abound in the Bush adminstration. He will go down in history as the worst president in history. I feel safe, don’t you?
The Matthews Sucking Sound
Better watch what you say before the show. Chris Matthews is caught playing anything but Hardball with the Neocon Demon, Tom Delay. These two were caught chatting before the cameras rolled on this edition of Hardball. Reported on AirAmerica Randy Rhodes and Harry Shearer on the Huffington Post:
MATTHEWS: Hey thank you for calling me. It was a good thing for me, mostly.
DELAY: Oh really.
MATTHEWS: Oh of course it was. We got on the air as fast as we could….

MATTHEWS: I am NOT kidding. They didn’t like Edwards — they thought he was a rich lawyer, pretending to care about poor people…

Do you hear that huge sucking sound? I guess the game of Hardball is played only with a select few. If you hear the actual audio of this, you will realize just what a suck-up Matthews was. I guess "Us and Them" is human nature for even so called adults.
