How dare Howard Dean point out the fact that the Republican party is a nearly exclusively white and Christian party. Despite the fact the Republicans have spent the last 40 years aligning themselves with fundamentalists, pointing out the obvious shows that Dean is a mean spirited person.

VP Dick Cheney was quoted on Hannity and Colmes wondering if Dean’s mother didn’t love him and that was making him saying these mean things. Is the lack of maternal love the reason Cheney told Patrick Leahy to go fuck himself on the Senate floor? Is the lack of love from Barbara Bush the reason why W has illegally invaded Iraq? Is the lack of maternal love the reason why the prescription drug policy screws over the elderly and benefits big pharma? Dean poses a problem for the Republicans because unlike most Democrats Dean is a fighter and that is just what the party needs. Let the Republicans throw up a smokescreen and try to talk about Dean while the Dems stick to the issues.
